  • Charlie Higson was in several bands, inlcuding The Higsons (with David Cummings and Terry Edward).
  • Before he he wrote and performed in The Fast Show (with Paul Whitehouse and others), he was a decorator. He once decorated a property owned by Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie.

  • In the 1990s, he published several novels for adults, including: King of the Ants (1992) and Happy Now (1993).
  • Charlie Higson began to write the Young Bond series in 2004, and the first book, SilverFin, was published in 2005. It was followed by Blood Fever (2006), Double or Die (2007), Hurricane Gold (2007) and By Royal Command (2008).
  • Higson has also written a series of zombie stories for children. The titles are: The Enemy, The Dead, The Fear, The Sacrifice and The Fallen.
  • Charlie Higson is married to Victoria Fullick, and they have three sons.
  • He was born on 3rd July 1958.
  • His favourite James Bond film is You Only Live Twice.
  • He reads a lot. As a teenager he enjoyed reading Michael Moorcock, J.R.R. Tolkien and Franz Kafka.
